FAQs

Q. How do I know if coaching is for me?

A. The applications and benefits of coaching are wide and deep and your individual results depend on your goals and the actions you take through coaching. Among other things, coaching builds self-awareness, and provides a thinking space and a powerful accountability structure. Clients report getting results quicker, setting and achieving more relevant goals, and shifting unhelpful mindsets. If you would like to experience any of these, coaching could be for you. You may also find it helpful to read the article, ‘Are You Ready for Coaching?’ before scheduling an introductory session.

Q. How do I know if you’re the right coach for me?

A. The best way to see if we’re a great fit is to experience working with me. Schedule a complimentary one-on-one introductory session. There is no obligation to continue working with me in any capacity. We will clarify what’s included in our coaching partnership, and discuss any other questions.

Q. How do I know you will understand my situation? Have you worked with someone like me or with my background before?

A. I have worked with business owners and professional women from various fields and backgrounds including Law, Allied Health, HR and Recruitment, Sales, Art and Design, IT, Education, Counselling and Coaching. I have worked with many clients who are transitioning into a new career or a business, or are facing a major life transition (marriage, first-time motherhood, retirement, divorce). The women I have worked with either like to do things differently, or would like to start doing things differently. I view my clients as being more than their job title, CV, relationship or parental status, or social media accounts - they are whole people who want a business or career that enriches their lives. My clients are already successful, creative, resourceful, and whole. They are willing to take action to achieve their goals, and want to work with a thought-partner who will hold them accountable through the process. If this sounds like you, we could be a good fit. Schedule a complimentary one-on-one introductory session and experience working with me to find out for sure.

Q. Are you professionally trained or certified as a coach?

I am an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), initially trained and qualified through the ICF-accredited CLCC foundational coach-specific and leadership training program. I am committed to continuing professional and personal development and am glad to answer any questions about my qualifications and current or recent professional development.

As a member of the International Coaching Federation I am pleased to adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.

Q. where do you hold coaching sessions?
